The latest release of Sage 50 is available now and is version 27.1.562.0. Please see a summary of the new features in this version below.
- Simple Sage Connected Services setup – We’ve made it easier to set up and use Sage Connected Services with a single log in. Connect your bank to automate transactions and reconciliation and use Invoice Payments to accept customer payments faster.
- Easy User Management – Improved user management gives you more control over who accesses your data and how, and makes it simple to manage remote access for users and your Accountant or Bookkeeper when using Remote Data Access, which replaces Sage Drive in v27.
- New Custom Alerts – Make sure your team have all the facts. Set up important messages and reminders to appear when specific customers, suppliers or products are selected in invoices and orders.
- Features Removed – To allow our development teams to focus on new features that give you the most benefits for your business, in the latest release the following features will no longer be available: Task Manager, Dashboards, Process Maps, Nominal Graphs, Phone Dialer and custom XML files within the Configuration Editor.

December 2019 – Latest Sage 50cloud Accounts version 26 released
The latest release of Sage 50 is available now and is version 26.2.139.0. This version includes new features and updates including Data conversion improvements, improved automatic repair of damaged data, Sage Drive improvements, enhancements to the Making Tax Digital module to remember logon credentials and CIS and Brexit functionality.
May 2019 – Latest Sage 50cloud Accounts version 25 released
The latest release of Sage 50 is available now and is version 25.1. Packed with great new features, including ways to make your bank reconciliation easier and options to add attachments to your VAT Returns and journals. New network improvements also mean you can take backups and run your VAT Returns while others are logged in.

May 2018 – New GDPR Features in Sage 50 Accounts and 50cloud version 24.2
In Sage 50 Accounts v24.2, which is the latest build of the software, you can now edit or delete items in your archive files. This feature was added to help you become ready for the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the “right to be forgotten”.
To edit your archived data:
1. Click File then click Open and click Company Archive.
2. From the list of archived data, select the archive data you want to edit then click Open. If access rights were set up on the company prior to archiving the data, you need to log into the archive with the same user name and password that you used to access the company data at the time.
You can now edit customer, supplier and subcontractor account details, or delete these records in line with the normal deletion rules.
Quotations, invoices, credit notes, sales orders and purchase orders can also be deleted.
You can also run the Clear Audit Trail routine within the archive.
3. To return to your company data, click File, choose Open then click Open Company Data.
January 2017 – New Sage 50c available now.
Sage 50c is the latest version of the UK’s best selling accounts software – now with built in integration with Microsoft Office 365. The software includes a subscription to Office 365 Business Premium and a suite of Sage Apps that let you view and manage your Sage accounts data from within Office 365. Get access to your customer and supplier details directly in the Office contacts app, and share financial reports in Excel online in real time.

Just send us your logo and any other graphics and content you require, and we will produce a full suite of Sage layouts using your corporate identity. This will give you a professional image and strong brand identity in all your dealings with customers and suppliers. We can cope with any special requirements you may have, and can adapt the standard designs to incorporate additional data fields if required. This services costs from £40 + VAT per document layout depending on complexity and work involved.
We can also design any report required from Sage accounts or Payroll, either customising a standard report to include additional data, sorts or filters, or creating a new report from scratch if it is not included in the comprehensive standard reports provided by Sage. Again, each custom report costs from £40 + VAT, much more cost effective than the report design service from Sage themselves, which costs a minimum of £100 + VAT per report.
Monday, 21st December 2015 – Fantastic subscription offers from Sage. If you are an existing Sage 50 Accounts customer you can upgrade to a Sage 50 subscription at less than half the usual price and always have the latest version! But hurry, this is a limited time offer. If you have an older version of Sage 50 Accounts, this is a great way to get the latest version and spread the cost.
For example, if you are currently using Sage 50 Professional 2013, version 19 1 user, 1 company, the like for like upgrade price is £1140 + VAT. This would take you to version 22 (2016), but you would not be entitled to future upgrades or support. However, the subscription cost for you as an existing user is just £37.50 + VAT per month. If you currently have 5 users and 2 companies the cost is just £47.50 + VAT per month. Subscription prices start from £17.50 + VAT per month for Sage 50 Accounts 1 user 1 company if you are an existing Sage Accounts user. This is around half the cost to a new customer taking out a Sage subscription.

With Invoice Payments from Sage Pay you can do just that. By adding Pay Now buttons onto your invoices, your customers will be able to pay you instantly, easily and securely. You’ll also be able to accept card payments over the phone from directly within Sage 50 Accounts. All payments you take are automatically posted into your accounts, saving lots of time. Businesses like yours who use Invoice Payments get paid at least twice as fast as those that don’t.
